This policy explains how Ariv Academy collects and uses personal information through its website, assessments, career guidance and related educational services.
Information we collect
- Student identity, grade, board, school and location.
- Parent or guardian identity and contact information.
- Account, assessment answers, scores, reports and learning activity.
- Enquiries, support messages and consent records.
- Payment references, amount and status when payments are introduced. We do not intend to store card numbers, CVV, UPI PINs or banking passwords.
- Limited security information such as timestamps and one-way hashes used to evidence consent and prevent abuse.
Why we use it
We use information to create and protect accounts, deliver assessments and guidance, score work, generate reports, provide support, administer purchases, meet legal obligations and protect the service. Research and marketing are optional and require separate choices.
Sharing
Information is available only to authorised personnel and service providers that are needed to operate hosting, communications, payments or support. School information may be shared with the relevant school where the service is being provided through that school. We do not sell personal information.
Children
A parent or lawful guardian must authorise processing for a student under 18. We do not use children's information for targeted advertising or behavioural monitoring.
Retention and security
We retain information only for the educational purpose, account administration, safeguarding, dispute resolution and applicable legal or financial record requirements. Exact retention periods must be approved and published before payment activation. We use access controls, encryption where appropriate, backups and audit records, but no online system can be guaranteed completely secure.
